Someone abandoned Roo on a road in a rural area and he found himself about to be surrendered to the local shelter. This shelter is over capacity and Roo ran the risk of being euthanized. EHR did not want that to happen to this sweet, tail-wagging boy so they stepped in to rescue him and he'll be arriving this month.

Roo weighs only 24 pounds and is 2 years old. Volunteers and staff say that this boy is the sweetest dog ever. This little guy loves other dogs and everyone he meets and loves to be held. We're not sure what breed Roo is but he's a "low rider" and we think he must have some Corgi in him! Whatever his makeup, he's a beautiful and friendly boy who is going to be a great companion or family dog!
