Hi there, I'm Hawthorn—and I think we might be best friends already! I’m a 34-pound bundle of calm, cuddles, and curiosity.  I was born on January 29th to one very brave mama who was rescued just in time to bring me and my seven siblings safely into the world. With big paws and even bigger hearts, we’re all growing fast into gentle giants who just want to love and be loved. 

I may still be a puppy, but I’ve got the soul of a wise old dog. I’m gentle and eager to please. I love everyone—dogs, kids, even cats! I’m really good on a leash because I love being close to my human. One of my favorite pastimes is to lean against my human while watching some TV; especially dog commercials! I’m also crate trained and will sleep peacefully through the night, as long as I know you’re nearby. Sometimes I like to chill in my crate just because it’s cozy. I’m still getting the hang of house training, but I’m trying really hard and making great progress every day. I’m also gaining confidence around playful dogs as I grow.

Now let’s talk food: I love it. I’m not shy about bringing my empty bowl into my crate and giving it a good tail wag to say, “Dinner time, please!”  I love a cold carrot to munch on or a marrow bone but I am also good about giving them up because I’m just that polite. 

I’m microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines—and all ready for my forever family! My adoption fee is $495. So, what do you say?
